5 Ways To Stream On TikTok LIVE Using OBS

There are so many methods to choose from.

Method 1: Stream Key with Basic OBS Setup

Overview: The simplest method using a stream key and a basic OBS canvas.

Steps:

1. Obtain a free stream key from verified networks (link in description).

2. In OBS, create a new profile ("TikTok Live").

3. Use auto config wizard → Optimize for streaming.

4. Set canvas resolution 1920x1080 (can change to 1080x1920 for vertical later).

5. Set bitrate between 6,000-9,000, prefer hardware encoding.

6. Input stream key (must get a new one every time).

7. Start streaming.

Method 2: OBS Plugin Setup (Aitum Multi & Aitum Vertical)

Overview: Uses two OBS plugins to create both landscape & vertical canvases.

Steps:

1. Download and install Aitum Multi & Aitum Vertical (links in description).

2. Restart OBS, then activate Multi & Vertical views in the Docks menu.

3. Add a stream key inside the Aitum Multiscreen settings.

4. Stream to TikTok Live, YouTube, Instagram, etc.

Method 3: Restream (Multistreaming with OBS)

Overview: Stream to multiple platforms at once, including TikTok.

Steps:

1. Create a Restream account (affiliate link in description).

2. Add TikTok Live as a streaming channel.

3. Apply for access (automated process).

4. In OBS, create a new profile → Optimize for streaming.

5. Set resolution to 1920x1080 (can switch to vertical later).

6. Choose Restream as the service & connect account.

7. Adjust bitrate (6,000-9,000) and start streaming.

   
   

Method 4: SE Live Plugin (From StreamElements)

Overview: No stream key required, works like Restream.

Steps:

1. Install SE Live plugin for OBS.

2. Enable TikTok Live in SE Live settings.

3. Apply for access (automated).

Method 5: OBS to TikTok Live Studio (No Plugins Needed)

Overview: Send your existing OBS setup directly to TikTok Live Studio.

Steps:

1. Use OBS Virtual Camera to send video.

2. Use a Virtual Audio Cable for audio.

3. No need to configure OBS separately for TikTok.
